*All day group and kids lessons are held at the improved Hanazono learning facility.

Getting to Hanazono – NISS Express – Safe, Comfortable, Family Friendly, Convenient

We’ve made it hassle free to start your day’s group lessons with our NISS Express Shuttle Service from NISS Hirafu (newly located at the base of the Ace Family Pair lift) direct to Hanazono. Simply arrive for registration before 9:30am and your instructor will be waiting to assist you with the loading of skis/boards onto the bus, before you depart for the short 15 minute trip to Hanazono. Your instructor will provide a short introduction on the way to prepare you for your day’s lesson.

NISS Express Details

Service	Shuttle from the NISS Ace Family Sales office and lobby direct to Hanazono.
Operating times	From Hirafu to Hanazono 9:00am ~ 10:00am (continuous)
	From Hanazono to Hirafu 3:30pm ~ 4:30pm (continuous)
Estimated travel time	15 minutes

*The Hanazono shuttle bus is also in operation every 30 min between the hours of 7:50AM and 5:10PM.

Grading System

SKIING

• LEVEL 1 First time ever skiing or doing the lesson to gain confidence.
• LEVEL 2 Can make a snow plough but not always linking turns.
• LEVEL 3 Can link turns on all green terrain with ease and may go to red terrain.
• LEVEL 4 Can easily link turns on all red terrain.
• LEVEL 5 Can easily link parallel turns on all black terrain.

SNOWBOARDING

• LEVEL 1 First time riding or doing the lesson to gain confidence
• LEVEL 2 Can ride the lift safely and control speed and direction
• LEVEL 3 Can link basic turns comfortably on green terrain
• LEVEL 4 Can make refined turns comfortably on red terrain
• LEVEL 5 Strong all mountain rider, looking to ride trees, powder and terrain parks
